Filming: The Climax

Today we filmed the middle of our film. This was by far the hardest part of the movie that we have had to film so far. That is because of all of the information that you have to fit into not that much time. My group and I found it challenging to fit everything into the movie. We also found it tricky to fit everything into the movie and keep a flow. We were finding that our filming was to choppy. And as a result it is harder for an audience who doesn't know the plot to keep up. So, to combat this problem we came up with a plan. Our plan is to film shots for longer time increments. This helps the audience understand what is happening. It also helps fit more things in to less time. That is because of the fact that you cut out editing.
This time we filmed at a later time. The reason for the difference in time is because we had to film after school. Filming after school is not ideal because of the limited time that you have. Another problem is that it is later in the day so we had to be cognizant of the filmer's shadow and make sure that we don't get it in the shot. Because if that happened our movie will look unprofessional and we will probably get points off. But, we have to film after school to meet the deadline that we have. Also, all of my group members were available so it seemed like a perfect opportunity.
