Funding impacts movies in almost every aspect. The most basic aspects of a film such as the quality of it, and how big the audience is that views the film, are both dictated by the funding that the film receives. So, this will demonstrate why funding is such a crucial element in the production of a film. 

While in the production stages of a film, quality is what every producer strives for. And having the best equipment will inevitably increase the quality of a film. According to Statsita, the average blockbuster movie spends around 33.7 million dollars on computer-generated imagery (CGI). This is in attempt to allow movies to film otherwise impossible thing. Which in turn extends the limits that the film has improving the quality and engaging the audience even more. On top of that, with a limitless budget one could buy higher quality cameras which would grasp the audience's attention even more. These are both big factors that the impact of funding has on films. 

With a significant amount of funding, producers would also have a more successful attempt at distributing their film. About $35 million goes into marketing and distribution of a major studio movie states Invetsopedia. This substantial about of funding that goes into these bigger movies allowed for a larger audience to be captured. According to Boxofficemojo, the most successful films were shown in +4,000 whereas the respectively smaller films with less of a budget where only shown in about 1000 theaters. This shows how the funding that goes into marketing and distribution of a film has an impact on the amount of people that see it. 

With funding, movies can improve the quality of their film, and increase their audience. Funding in a film positively helps the film in almost every aspect. And has a big impact over the film.
