Filming: Opening Scenes

Over the weekend my group and I started filming for our final task. For these shoots we went to  one of the group members house. At the house we shot the scenes that contain the house. However, their are a lot of scenes at the house and my group and I are not completely confident with the quality of all the scenes that we shot. So, in the future when we do our re-shooting we will probably go to this house again. Some of the scenes that we shot where also difficult to a degree. Doing the harder angles was also fun. That is because it required us to think outside of the box in order to get the perfect shot. For example, in one of the shots no one in my group was tall enough to properly get the shot so we put the camera on a bookshelf and got a much better shot. In this aspect filming was fun. But, a lot of it was a painstaking process of doing the same shot over and over again. however, with it being time consuming that means that the end result is very rewarding.
Now, moving on to what our group did to help film. I was in charge of the camera. Which meant that I was constantly filming and thinking of better shot. Maya and Gavin were actors. In Gavin's case this was hard because he is a boy and had to play the role of a girl. It was also pretty funny for the rest of the group members to see Gavin out of his comfort zone. And Amelia was the director. She decided if we had to re-due  a shot or not. She also was the one that that really tried to think of better ways to film.
This is the house that we filmed at:
